Our studio has been brought in to develop a strategy for the interior treatment of No 1 Fleet Street for Club Condor. Unlike a lot of the projects we work on, we had to think how to affect the existing spaces and make them relevant for Club Condor’s purpose, without touching the historic fabric of the building too much.
We came up with a concept that evoked the obsessive and technological aspects of the brand and the mission to be at the forefront of golf training and playing excellence. Our solution was to design new structures inside the building, like stage sets, that introduced a modern framework over the classical interiors as a counterpoint. These new grids will leave the building almost untouched but allow us to add all the functionality needed to create the experiences Club Condor want in the playing areas.
