The brief was to create a solution for the reception and meeting room areas of Nokia’s London HQ, in keeping with the flagship store design language we had developed.
The meeting rooms were set in an island in the ground floor space, forming a ‘pod’ with a corridor all the way around them. We integrated our wall unit design for Helsinki into the reception side of the skin of the pod to allow products to be displayed. The remainder of the island is clad in powder coated aluminium panels with a pattern of illuminated lozenge shapes set in to it. The LED panels between the product displays can run video for campaigns & promotions, or just cycle through block colours to alter the mood of the space. A shallow pool outside the glass reception wall produces a reflection of the linear reception and product display, adding impact to the design.
